We spent several months looking for our new home and looked at many open homes, meeting most of not all the local agents in the area in the process. It was quickly apparent some were more professional than others. Some were more transparent in the handling of offers than others. Some were good at contacting potential buyers, others not so good. Some produced comprehensive marketing information with good photos and videos while others didn’t. Some were happy to provide private viewings on request, others didn’t. Most but not all ran well managed open houses. Some, but not all, were happy to keep serious buyers informed of the state of play well into the evening of open house days.
