Anglesea Purchase
We had viewed many properties with Ian and found him to be extremely knowledgable and helpful. He kept us informed on each property and during negotiations was very open and honest. Even after our purchase he has helped us with finding local tradesmen. I would also compliment the office manager Paula on her help post purchase.

Purchasing a holiday home in Anglesea
My wife and I visited Anglesea over the Valentines Day weekend staying at a friend's holiday home, we had a clear picture in our mind of the type of property we would like to acquire with a preference for a reasonably modern and maintenance free, two storey unit. During the course of the weekend we visited a number of properties discovering the Fernald Avenue property late on Saturday. We contacted the agent Great Ocean Properties and were shortly called back by Ian Lawless who arranged an inspection for the following day. The property was well presented and clearly fitted what we had visualised with the asking price being close to our available budget. I consulted a colleague who is a respected buyers advocate, he provided guidance on how we might proceed and indicated that the agent Great Ocean Properties had proven to be both ethical and professional. Our dealings with Ian Lawless reaffirmed this as he conducted the negotiations between the vendor and ourselves to a satisfactory outcome in terms of pricing and settlement. Ian and his team continued to assist through completion of the relevant contract documentation, settlement and handover. My wife and I would happily recommend Ian and the team at Great Ocean Properties for anyone looking to purchase or sell throughout the Surf Coast region.

Review of Ian Lawless as Agent
Ian was very helpful in arranging to show us the property at short notice after the initial property inspection, and was very open and honest in presenting the different aspects of the property and how it may meet our needs. Ian provided a key mediation role with the Vendors and was very helpful in the contract signing and settlement aspects. He arranged for work to be done on the property to present in the best possible light and was helpful in recommending local trades people. At settlement, Ian's team also warmly welcomed us to the Anglesea area. We would highly recommend Ian and his team for future property sales and purchases.

Great team effort
Chris and I were extremely happy with our agents from Great Ocean Properties. The prompt and regular communication from Ian, Trent and Jess was greatly appreciated.
