My wife and I recently purchased an apartment in the flour mill development at Summer Hill. I am relieved to say that we had a good experience and the agent - Michael Poynting from Harris Tripp - was very professional and courteous. There was never any hard sell, rather we got helpful advice on the strata scheme (through referral to a current committee member) and referral to mortgage broker when our proposed lender was taking their time in giving finance approval. Michael was very prompt in responding to our queries, and was very sharp and helpful in negotiating mutually beneficial changes to the contract with the vendor. But it was also his attention to details and apparent little things that gave an insight into Michael's professionalism. Like ending a text message with 'Thank you'. Our dealings with Michael and Harris Tripp have been excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending Michael to anyone needing real estate services.

I have searched for my perfect home for many months and found it difficult to like any of the properties that I had seen. I had met Michael at a couple of open homes and he was always very helpful. After the first meeting, I was added to the Harris Tripp mailing list. Many properties popped up in my inbox and eventually I saw 4 apartments that really appealed to me. I missed 1 open and joined Michael at the other 3. Michael explained, in great detail, the pros and cons of each property and the area. I was undecided between 2 properties but Michael helped me decide on just one. It was going to auction 3 weeks after. At the second opening of the property I had selected I asked Michael what it would take to secure the property and take it off the market. Michael used his extensive knowledge of how the business operates, contacted the vendors and by the end of that same day the vendors and myself had exchanged contracts at the agreed price. Michael continued to communicate with me on issues relating to the strata report, making a final deposit and timeframe for settlement. Always friendly and courteous and I'm sure if he was frustrated with my stuffing around, it never showed. I have purchased a couple of properties before, I must say, although many years ago but the agents that I dealt with were abrupt and dismissive. Not Michael. At all times, a true professional with great communication skills, tremendous industry knowledge and a courteous friendly manner at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael and his team to any prospective purchaser or seller. You won't be disappointed, I'm sure.

You could not get better professional service from Sharon and her team.
