This property suffered from wet weather roofing leaks that caused ceiling stains and mold all of which caused the tenant to vacate on 26 July. Amy and Amber in a spirited way attacked the issues needed to resurrect the property to SpiffO. They suggested updating the interior lighting with LED's to complement the existing pendent lights and so retain the charm of the illuminated interiors. This was an outstanding success and showcased the interiors of all rooms. This was followed by an assessment of which rooms required to be painted. Simultaneously they dealt with GIO Insurance and their Assessor for the wet weather damage, and successfully submitted the claim which GIO have processed and paid. Advertising went on-line Saturday 20 August, and on 30 August a new tenant signed a lease. In fact there were two interested tenants on the same day, and one clinched the property by offering a rise in the rent! I’ve never experienced this situation before. All of the above events resulted in an outcome that far exceeded my wildest expectations! My hearty congratulations to Highland and Amy and Amber on their outstanding performance and the exceptional result. Many Thanks Mike Robinson.
