We were able to achieve a satisfactory outcome in a declining market. Timing is everything as they say, and our timing was probably not optimal - but this was our call and not down to Michael. Having known Michael for many years, it is obvious that he is intimately familiar with the Bayside market in terms who is selling, who is buying, and what the market is saying. He is easy to deal with and his feedback and general communication is timely and honest. Our eventual buyer was identified early in our campaign and he continually circled back to them when appropriate, as our respective positions evolved. We ended up a little below the agreed enquiry range, but in line with similar property type sales in the area. It’s also apparent that buyer activity has slowed significantly since we agreed to our sale contract. All in all, well handled by Michael and his Hodges team in Beaumaris.
