I had a lease managed by James and Carl of Holland Price for a one year period - I only terminated the lease due to a new home purchase. The lease was for an 1910-1930 Bungalow. The internals were well maintained, with recent update to the carpet and walls. As with any legacy property there were a fair number of minor maintenance issues throughout the lease period - all issues were resolved within days of being raised, and with no disruption to our use of the property. Inspections were organised per the RTA, and notice was given well in advance. The agent also went above and beyond in offering inspections at a time we were home, or a time we were out - whichever our preference. The agent was also amenable to rescheduling inspections as requested. In relation to end of lease the agent was extremely flexible. I was unsure if I was going to renew the lease, continue on a periodic basic, transfer the lease, or terminate the lease. Holland Price were flexible in offering 3, 6, and 12 month terms, or transfer at no cost (unless advertising required). When I opted to end the lease I provided the legislated minimum period, and Holland Price proceeded with listing the property. The agents went out of their way to scheduling viewings at a time which suited me, provided notice far in excess of what was required, and always offered to reschedule if needed. The outgoing condition report was conducted quickly and fairly. There was a minor disagreement regarding the front lawn maintenance which was resolved in a three minute phone call, and my bond was swiftly returned. I lost a key for the property which Holland Price dealt with outside of the bond, and just requested I pay the $7 fee for key cutting - an extremely reasonable and courteous solution. Overall, I cannot praise Holland Price, James, and Carl enough. I can say this is the only positive experience I have had as a tenant and I commend the team at Holland Price for their work.
