When we first made contact with Chris, he was one of the few agents who called us back immediately and stayed in contact with us continuously during the weeks following. Chris was the most experienced and knowledgeable agent we worked with in the Huon Valley and he understood the property market as well as the community of the Huon Valley. Initially we felt like Chris was dismissive of us as serious buyers though almost like we were just speculating. It felt a little like we were the ones pushing the deadlines and urgency. I also found Chris dismissive of other agents in the area. We understood that he was the most experienced and knowledgeable agent in the region but I would've liked to see more him be more respectful of other agents in the region. Overall, we were very happy with how the transaction went and we believe that Chris was able to find us a property that met our needs for about the price we were willing to pay. We came to Huonville from the mainland specifically to purchase an investment property. Despite phoning and emailing various agents before we arrived and then visiting in person, Chris was the ONLY agent who showed us anything. It was bizarre that agents in the area are so lazy. We phoned Chris about a house we were parked in front of and straight away he offered to meet us and then showed us through 2 properties he thought might meet our criteria. We bought the second one and signed the contract that night.
