Over the last 12 odd months we've been looking for the right property at the right time at the Gold Coast. We were hampered as we are moving from Melbourne and were unable to travel due to covid to view properties. Warren kept us updated with available properties and as a result conducted a number of virtual inspections for us. I reckon he spent hours virtually showing us around the property we eventually purchased - pointing out every little mark and flaw to ensure we had no surprises. We confidently decided to purchase our dream house without seeing it in person. Fast forward a few weeks when we could visit the property in person. Right from the word go Warren and Wendy were engaged with our property and had an instant connection. We had previous agents that were polar opposite. The Hickey Team knew the market and every property sold in Hope Island and could relate to buyers and the value add living in our estate. They followed through with their promises and kept us informed all the way. They were strategic around releasing our property to gain maximum exposure especially given we had it on the market prior with agents that were disorganised and couldn’t even get the marketing material to match the auction time. Warren and Wendy truely are the Number 1 agents in Hope Island. They know the area inside out along with every property. They also achieved us good $$$ and worked for the sale through their pre qualifying so prospective buyers coming through were in our price band. The very 1st time meeting Evan at an open home, I could tell he had a passion for real-estate. Evan showed a great knowledge of the properties he had on the market, and the area in which they're situated. His presentation is very professional and he's extremely courteous. Evan takes time to understand what the buyer is looking for in a property, and only presents those that suit the buyers wishes. Evan had a property going to market that suited our requirements, he worked out of hours and went above and beyond to organise a private inspection, knowing that I couldn't attend an Open House. With Evan's excellent service, it allowed us to sign a contract and secure our dream home before the actual day of the Open House. After the contract was signed, Evan always remained contactable and answered all our questions, while keeping us up to date right through to handover.
