You can often tell a lot about someone's character when in difficult circumstances together. In mid-2024 I inspected a townhouse, which Warren was acting as agent for. I had been looking for a place for several months - I was a first home buyer - and found Warren to be highly personable, professional and authentic (to me importantly, he was not at all pretentious), which immediately put me at ease. Negotiations were extremely straight-forward and fast. However, despite doing everything by the book and being pre-approved with seemingly perfect conditions for finance, my lender very unexpectedly pulled the rug from under me and refused finance well into the finance period, after which all hell broke loose. My situation was such that I absolutely needed to buy then or would have to put off buying indefinitely. I told Warren the bad news but he urged that we'd find a solution. Warren negotiated with the seller an almost unheard-of extension to the finance period, whilst I found an excellent mortgage broker who pulled off their own miracle. Against extreme odds, everything came together, and settlement occurred. I must emphasise, I have ZERO doubt that had this situation occurred with other agents I had met in the preceding months, things wouldn't have lined up the way they did. Warren's perseverance and professionalism was invaluable, and made things so much easier. If you're a potential buyer or seller, I would highly recommend taking the time to speak with Warren.
