This was my first and only encounter with Hudson and McHugh having been previously looking in other areas through different agents for a lengthy period prior to this. Service from Hudson and Mc Hugh was refreshingly professional,friendly and polite. The agent Peter that showed me the home initially went out of his way to show me 2 other similar properties on the same day straight after, outside of normal viewing times which really helped clarify pros and cons of each property. The guide price on the property was for a change realistic when compared to the ultimate sale price in a sellers market where repeatedly I had been frustrated by the guide price advertised by other agents being way under the ultimate selling price by in some cases up to $300,000. There was no pressure on auction day and it was one of the few auctions I have attended that I didn't feel badgered by the agents and David was successful in creating relaxed atmosphere. It was only because David kept me informed on what was happening with the property that I attended the auction with a realistic idea and confidence that I stood a chance at bidding successfully as opposed to many other auctions that I had attended. Working in a service based industry myself my experience with Hudson and McHugh from beginning to end has restored my faith that there are real estate agents out there that ARE honest and helpful.
