There was an issue with settling cracks in the property. I hired an engineers to do an inspection. The agent assured the engineer the cracks had not changed in years. After settlement the tenants informed me the cracks had continuously got worse over the last three years. Either the agent made deliberately false statements, or else just made a favorable statement without any actual knowledge- either way the property was misrepresented.
