We have been dealing with Bill Verhagen for approximately 5 years, firstly as a Property Manager for our house in Yarra Glen and then the subsequent sale of that property and then recently we purchased a development property though him. When we decided to sell the property, we had no hesitation in listing it with Bill and he negotiated a sale for us in a very short period of time. When we recently decided to Purchase another property, we contacted Bill regarding a property that he had listed and he was extremely helpful, providing all the paperwork that we required and obtaining other additional information for us. Not sure if rating Bill or Will with this requested review but as we only dealt with Will, these comments relate to Will: We appreciated Will's willingness to accommodate our request for a few visits in person to the property prior to making an offer. We didn't feel pressured to hurry with an offer. Will was familiar with local area which was a bonus. We felt a bit in the dark about aspects of the property upon handover Information such as satellite tv being the only tv service available in the region. Additionally, documentation about the rain water tank and septic system that the original owner suggested existed were not left for us. Also no keys for the window locks we handed over. At settlement we were disappointed that the handover wasn't with Will. Although an arrangement had been made about the time that this would occur, Will was unfortunately unable to attend. We were going to use the opportunity to seek advice from Will about over-capitalising on the property given his knowledge of properties in the area. Will is a very likeable agent and we would use his services should the need arise.

Bill has worked with us for over a year to help sell a property which was devasted during the bushfires. He provided information which was most helpful and probably over and above his job description. However, we have had a happy end with a sale last month. Bill has kept us updated throughout and has been most helpful. He is very passionate about the area which is another reason for me selecting him as the Estate Agent.
