I recently found myself in the bizarre situation where my rent stopped arriving and my property management agency had simply vanished into thin air. Calls and emails went unanswered, and their physical office was completely packed up. For full disclosure, this was Signature Property Investment (previously known as Park Trent Property). After contacting Consumer Affairs, I searched online for a new agency and found Jas Stephens, who had exceptional Google reviews. I reached out and was introduced to Damien Welch. From that exact moment, Damien took total ownership of the situation, essentially turning from a real estate agent into a private investigator. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He went above and beyond by chasing down the previous agency, liaising with Consumer Affairs, organizing a new set of keys through the body corporate, and leaving formal entry notices. He even managed to track down the previous tenant to retrieve the keys, entered the property to confirm it was vacant, organized compliance inspections, advertised the property, and successfully leased it out. The broader Jas Stephens team and their slick internal workflows left a massive impression on me as well. Having dealt with a total dud agency for so long, I honestly didn't realize this level of amazing service even existed. Thank you, Damien—you have been an absolute superstar. You are proof that genuinely thorough, dedicated professionals are out there who will do whatever it takes to get the best outcome for their clients.
