I am currently renting a property through this agency, upon the first day of moving in I highlighted to the estate agent that there is some mould growing in the vacant room downstairs, the response was "Oh I did notice that, can you please let me know if it gets any worse?" It was neglected to be on the condition report and being something that the estate agent claims they noticed I am disappointed it was not rectified upon moving into the property. The condition report required a significant amount of amendments of the property. The oven upon moving in required two cans of oven cleaner to bring it up to a sanitary level prior to being used, the condition report reflected that it had been cleaned yet I managed to fill an entire bag of paper towels covered in black sludge from the oven. A week after moving into the property it had rained and the room down stairs had a significant leak where water was entering the property from the back wall and travelling about 3 metres on the carpeted floor, having raised this with the estate agent I was advised a plumber would attend the property - I waited 3 weeks with no contact from the plumber. During this time it rained more and further water entered the property. I made further contact with the agency and was advised that they have given the plumber a 'nudge' he came (for memory) a day or two later. The estate agent I deal with seems like a nice person and I've enjoyed the interactions thus far, but the level of service from the brand 'Living Here' hasn't been great. I also raised there was a locked door at the property upon moving in, they had organised a tradesman to inspect it the following day - this was great service! However the tradesman had to request a lock smith attend the property - prior to me confirming a suitable time for the locksmith too attend he had already let himself into my house whilst I was in the shower - this made me feel uncomfortable.
