Having had a look around the area for a suitable agent and having seen a few in person and more besides online, Paul’s genuine attitude and willingness to put in the hours really assisted with a smooth and satisfactory process. Having talked to a family friend with extensive realestate experience as both an solicitor, agent, buyer, and seller, Paul’s initial consult passed muster - not only his manner and estimate, but also his not attempting to oversell advertising or suggest an outrageous estimate. I’m generally not a fan of Realestate and some of those involved in it, but I would happily have Paul as my agent for another house sale, and his simultaneously accomodating attitude to delays and issues, solid worth ethic, and realism puts Paul in rare category. In a practical manner, Paul was great to deal with for someone in my position who didn’t live in Bateau Bay for the following reasons: - Prompt communication, quick to return or answer calls including after hours. - Prompt sending and returning of legal documentation (including using secure email based signing). - Following issues with a building inspection, Paul was on the phone immediately and a plan of action was implemented within 3hrs of the next business day. - Willing to take potential buyers through at any time: 6:30pm on a Friday night was fine. - His commission is significantly more reasonable than other nearby agents. In conclusion - go with Paul, it’s a good deal.
