George Vlandis made the whole experience of selling a property a breeze. As I have said to a number of people since, George as a young man at table listened well to his real estate franchise owner Dad, Dennis, when the latter took the inevitable work call. George not only provided us with great service, keeping us fully informed during the whole process and providing wise counsel in relation to the property we bought, he demonstrated the same first-rate negotiation skills we experienced during an earlier real estate experience with him. George is a hard worker. We appreciated especially all the hard behind-the-scenes work that he put in for us that very much contributed to the successful result on auction day. Six bidders don’t just come out of nowhere, especially considering it is harder to achieve so many bidders for the auction of a unit. Above all, we admired his business-like manner - the bidders must have also as they stuck by him. Auctioneer Frank Pompeani, from the same Hooker Office, also did a great job. I thought that it was a far superior auction to those I have witnessed in the last couple of months - one for house in a popular Belconnen suburb which produced no result on the day; the other, for a Belconnen townhouse, which had three bidders and could have produced a better result. We also much admired Frank's business-like approach. He seems to fly under the radar in the ACT - I found his approach and manner superior to the higher profile auctioneers here. And his result on the day proved that for us.
