Camilla is managing 2 properties for us: 13/77 Northbourne Avenue and 178/60 College Street. I have found that Camilla understands all the issues regarding the property management. These issues include managing the leasing of a property to secure the best tenants and the best rent for the landlord, working with tradespersons, ensuring that tenants look after the property, and keeping the landlord fully informed. During the recladding of our ground floor 13/77 Northbourne Avenue property, we lost a tenant because of the prolonged noise and disruption to the life of the tenant. We knew it was going to be difficult to get another tenant while the work was going on. Against all odds, Camilla was able to secure a very good tenant, convinced the tenant to sign the lease and move into the property earlier than the tenant had originally planned, and to pay a higher rent than we were expecting. A large glass window on the street-facing side of the property was found to have cracked as a result of the recladding work. Camilla succeeded in getting the Body Corporate and the supervisor of the recladding work to agree to replace the glass window and to replace some bulbs that were impacted by the recladding. Being a large glass window, replacing it ourselves would have cost us a lot of money. Camila was also able to convince the departing tenant to pay for some of the repairs and maintenance issues in the apartment rather than attribute all the maintenance issues to "normal wear and tear". Camilla also managed all other repairs and maintenance issues swiftly and efficiently. Camilla communicates well with us the landlords, brings any issues quickly to our attention, follows up outstanding issues and reports back promptly. We found all the previous LJHooker property managers we dealt with to be also very professional and efficient, but this is the first time we have been asked to assess a property manager, and we are very happy to appraise Camilla Dewi as excellent.
