When Nic was first engaged as the agent to sell my property, we were both unsure about the response from prospective buyers. The property is an older style “weekender” 90 minutes drive from Canberra, so the level of interest was hard to gauge. Nic was up-front and honest about this, and didn’t create any unrealistic expectations. Nevertheless, he was happy to take on the challenge, drive out to the property and arrange photos and an excellent video (including drone footage!). The resulting online and print media advertisements were spectacular and immediately generated lots of buyer interest. In fact, several buyers were competing with each other and making offers well above the original advertised price. Nic handled this rush of interest with great skill and diplomacy, while always ensuring that the main goal was to achieve the maximum sale price. When the right buyer was found, Nic was firm and decisive, and worked hard to ensure a very quick deposit payment and exchange of contracts. Despite family commitments, Nic was happy to work late into the evening to accommodate the buyer’s needs, and thus achieved a fantastic result for all parties. Following the sale, Nic facilitated a meeting between myself and the buyer at the property to ensure a smooth handover. Nic was again happy to make the 90 minute drive, this time on a Sunday morning.
