Felt pressured

I felt pressured to accept an offer that was way out of the value of our property - all because the agent kept insisting that “we lose here - and win at the next”. Felt like he gave up after the auction didn’t go well. We went from asking 1.6m to $1.4m. Explained that the downside of our property was paint work or it was an electricity box that’s sitting outside our land which is something we cannot control and it’s council related. All ridiculous reasons why our property is not valued at $1.6m. He undervalued our property with unnecessary comments and telling us the problem with our property but never suggested different tactics to get it sold for what it is truly worth. But the property is sitting on 500+ sqm with 5 spacious rooms, 3 living spaces, 2 and half bathrooms, double garage, ducted air conditioning and solar and it’s a fairly new and modern property and we are the first owner. The property is accessible to the M5 and M7, Ed square, Edmondson park station and costco. He didn’t listen to what we asked for and kept pressuring us to accept lower because that’s what was suggested by the people viewing the property which is not correct. I felt like we got robbed out of this sale and my family and I are not too happy. We will not be using this agent in the future again. We used him in our last property and thought he would handle us with care. We were wrong. And we will not use him again or recommend him to anyone. The new owner definitely got a bargain from us and we definitely lost out here. We are definitely and sorely disappointed. We worked hard on our property the last almost 10 years and for someone to undervalue our property because he couldn’t be bothered to help us sell our property correctly is very disappointing and sad. We followed his advice and we shouldn’t have.
