Thorough, thoughtful and very knowledgable
Lachlan Elder somehow managed to make our whirlwind viewing and purchasing experience really enjoyable, when it could easily have become overwhelmingly stressful. Yes, he is the consummate professional, but he is also warm, funny and patient. And when viewing offshore and other Pittwater properties, it certainly helps that Lachlan has personal experience living that lifestyle. We could also tell that he loves and cares about the area. We're very happy with the respectful way Lachlan worked with both parties to clinch the deal and would definitely recommend him to other vendors and purchasers.

This Agent was a pivotal factor in the sale of my property
We were selling a niche property in a niche market which attracted few buyers. Lachlan Elder's dedicated approach got us the sale at close to our desired price. Throughout the campaign he constantly worked to maximise every opportunity and kept us informed throughout. Whilst we didnt agree on everything, his skillful and attentive approach, coupled with a particularly appealing manner gave us the confidence to trust his judgement on crucial aspects of the sale. And it paid off. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lachlan to vendors looking to sell.

Absolutely Trustful
If you need someone to help you sell your home and you demand honesty, care and truthfulness, I strongly recommend Ryan Petrie to you. This young man is a truly quiet achiever who keeps your needs in the forefront of his work. When we were wrong, he gently brought us around with real facts, sound advice and integrity. Knows his stuff
Lachlan Elder did a great job in selling our $5m+ property. Many agents we talked to spent more time talking than listening, but Lachlan was the opposite. His ability to read both us as sellers - and give us the information/support we needed - and read the buyers - to figure out which ones were the time wasters and which were the real prospects, was excellent. Lachlan spent a lot of time strategising about how best to move potential buyers from tyre-kickers to offer-makers. In the end his strategies paid off. After resisting a few low-ball offers we managed to get a great price from a great buyer. I would recommend Lachlan Elder to anyone wanting to sell their premium property on the Northern Beaches. This guy knows his stuff.

Excellent Agent
We had the pleasure of dealing with the affable Lachlan Elder over a 6 month period during the purchase of our new home on the Northern Beaches, in which the vendor required a very long settlement. From the beginning, Lachlan was open and informative and handled the purchase negotiations very professionally. He was never pushy or presumptuous, and allowed us the time and space to view the property at our own pace and thereafter ask questions of him; he always had the answer! He communicated with us promptly and effectively and was a ‘breath of fresh air’ after looking at over 70 houses and dealing with some less than professional agents. Lachlan was well aware of the area and local resources on offer, fully briefed on the details of the house and of course the sales process, aligning with his vast experience in the real estate business. As we had some specific special needs that we needed to address in the new property, Lachlan sensitively took these on board and readily arranged access visits prior to settlement so that we could take a builder and associates to the property to expedite our renovation plans. We found Lachlan to be a decent, friendly and dependable agent, well respected on the Northern Beaches and within the industry, and we would have no hesitation in recommending his professional services, whether you are a vendor or purchaser. Excellent and easy going
