Patience, calmness and experience came together to complete a sale in a tough environment
When we decided to sell our Cherrybrook home, we did a lot of a research about agents in the area. Louis Carr stood out to be the most popular and the highest selling agency in Cherrybrook at the time. So we set up a meeting. We could see his expertise and knowledge about the market and market conditions. We had met three other agents in the process and found that Greg and Jess and one other agent were more reserved in their appraisal than others. We found this to be a good quality as we had previously been disappointed in agents just agreeing with our expectations so that we'd enlist them. We decided to go with Greg and Jess because 1. they had a competitive fee structure and 2. we liked their overall personality and confidence.
Greg and Jess were always in touch with us and helping us with his ideas on how to present the house. Circumstances were such that it was almost peak COVID by the time we listed our house for sale. During this period their team followed all the necessary protocols and assisted us with the planning and strategising. They kept providing us information about what was happening in the market and sales in the area which helped us make the right decisions along the way. In the end we ended up selling the house with an auction and though it was less than our initial expectations, the end result was more than what we thought we'd achieve given the circumstances.
