I have undertaken this review based on the combined team of Elliot and Ian. We were selling the family home. Our parents originally bought the land and built on the property and we grew up in the property. Thus the decision to sell had a degree of emotional attachment. McGrath's were very empathetic to the situation and provided valuable upfront advice on preparing the property for sale, likely market, and purchasers. The marketing strategy was also deliberately pitched and targeted with the view of maximising a result on the day of the auction. Throughout the marketing campaign we were kept regularly up to date and throughout the process we felt like McGrath's were working for us, enabling us to think through and discuss specific situations. There also appeared to be disciplined follow up with potential purchases as there were numerous parties interests including multiple bidders on the day of the auction. The auction day strategy was well thought through by McGrath's albeit it was only after the event that the relevance / understanding of the strategy became apparent. An aspect relating to certain bidders. An aspect we saw first hand again when friends of our auctioned their property in the same area. Overall there was genuine service and consideration for the client shown throughout and I am sure that assisted with the successful result achieved and a very positive client experience. We would use McGrath's again and would recommend them to any potential selling vendor.
