Helpful, effective and hardworking
Working with Monique Layoun and Joel Hollings, my parents managed to achieve an optimum price on their property which has made all the differnece for their financial future, retirement and peace of mind. It was an older larger home that needed lots of work to get market ready but like many seniors, my parents were asset rich but low on funds and energy to finish renovations. Rather than pushing my parents to sell it as a renovator (which a couple agents have tried to do in the past), Monique and Joel focused on what needed to be fixed up so that we could achieve the best price. They helped to arrange the finance of the works and even project managed the improvements, in consultation with us along the whole way. They were always guiding but never bossy and took alot of the stress off our shoulders. They even have in-house translators in multiple languages which has been handy for my parents who are of Asian descent. Monique and Joel are quick to return phone calls and texts, even after hours. You know an agent works hard when they take and return calls outside of business hours. Also on auction day, Monique, Joel, their associates and the Auctioneer Anthony did a wonderful job working all the buyers to drive a competitive atmosphere and keep the bidding going up and up! The final sale price exceeded even my dad's lofty expectations (which the rest of us thought might not have been realistically achievable) and so we are all over the moon. Joel, Monique and team, we sincerely thank you for making the biggest difference for my family. Achieving a spectacular sales price isnt just about the money but really eases all the financial worries they had around retirement, at an age where they need it most. We all felt like a big weight has been lifted off our shoulders today. Thank you!! For anyone considering working with Monique and Joel, you wont regret it. Also do consider furniture staging your property for the sale. It makes all the difference too!

Joel is excellent at what he does.
We had to sell my mother's home under difficult circumstances and Joel and his approach took a lot of stress out of the situation. He is prompt, communicates clearly and did exactly what he said he would do. His team are also very efficient, and I make no hesitation in recommending Joel. He is a credit to the McGrath brand.
