In a world full of disclaimers, Product Disclosure Statements and those pesky snake-oil peddling salesman, who do you really trust? Reviews are usually only written by disgruntled customers and should you really trust those glowing reviews? In a world where everything is highly subjective you just don’t know. So choosing an agent to sell your home and blindly believing they are good at what they do (because they say so) is very hard. Being based in QLD and not having met Robert in person made it even harder. All I had to go on was the reviews. At the time Robert had much much more reviews whilst other agents had less than half of that. I was still skeptical and asked Robert why so many reviews. His simple answer was that he has been in this business longer than most. That made me a lot more comfortable. I gave Robert clear instructions on how to proceed with the sale of my prized possession, told him I’m quite time poor and to proceed as he sees fit. It was pretty much a set and forget type of situation for me, to the point where I kinda forgot that I need to check in with Robert regarding the sale process. Ten days after first listing the property, I thought I’d better call Robert for an update. What a surprise when Robert told me two buyers were about to submit offers and the house could be sold by the end of the morning. A few hours later the house was sold. The sale price was exactly what exactly what I wanted. I chose Robert because of the good reviews he got online and whilst everyone may have different opinions, I can truly say Robert and his ENTIRE team were fantastic.
