Fraser and his team were amazing. They gave us a realistic expectation regarding the value of the property based on their knowledge of the market. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Kelly was great- even checking on the property during heavy rainfall to check for leaks(as we lived some distance away). The weekly written reports were really helpful in keeping us up to date with the level of interest as the campaign progressed. They had no hesitation in spending a considerable amount of their time showing prospective buyers through outside of the set viewing times. I would absolutely recommend Fraser and his team at McGrath to anyone wanting to sell their home. I interviewed three agents, and Fraser - who was recommended to me - was the standout candidate. I liked his approach immediately and knew he would represent me and my apartment the way I wanted. He was relaxed, very personable, and extremely professional - instantly making me feel like I was in safe hands. While I prepared my apartment for sale (which took a while) Fraser was in contact periodically and also recommended terrific tradespeople which was really helpful. His experience, market knowledge, and manner helped to alleviate my anxieties before and during the campaign. He talked through strategy options with me, next steps, what to expect, all of which helped me to make informed decisions. Selling your home is stressful, and as a single person it was reassuring to know Fraser was in my corner, acting in my interests throughout the entire process, and we had some laughs along the way. For personal reasons I bought first and sold second. Including both sides of the trade, as well as redecorating etc, the process took three and a half months. During this time the mood of the media on property prices was rapidly deteriorating. Fraser not only did a great job of selling my property he project-managed five teams to do pre-sale work redecoration and styling work, etc . His recommendations for contractors were really first rate and he kept the project on track in the minimum of time. He got a large number of people through the apartment to view and expressing lots of interest. Probably because of evolving market circumstances, the auction didn't go ahead quite as planned. However, Fraser worked flat out to get a good offer and a sale within 24 hours of the scheduled auction. The sale price was at the low end of our original expectations 3.5 months earlier. Given the change in market circumstances over this period including the biggest interest rate hike in 22 years, this result was a great relief. Fraser exuded well-deserved confidence throughout. Given my mobility issues and living in the apartment throughout the sale it was great to see Fraser even turn up early to help with the 'styling' before each viewing.
