From the moment we sat down with Matthew we just had a feeling that he was the complete opposite of any negative stereotype that surrounds real estate agents. Some of the qualities we valued in Matthew throughout our sale were: Reliability- he telephoned promptly after every inspection with feedback and answered every one of our calls, texts and emails almost immediately. Honest- he did not make false promises to secure our business. He talked candidly about the property and the market from the outset. Throughout the sale he advocated for us & showed us many times over he was not just trying to make a quick sale at our expense, and we were very happy with the outcome. Hard working- he responded to our enquiries at all hours and worked late to accommodate the needs of potential purchasers also. He was out the front of our house by 6.15am every Saturday morning to affix the open for inspection flag so that everyone would know we were open that day. Excellent communicator- He consistently touched base a few times every week, even if there was no real update to provide... We were never left wondering about any leads. He met with us face-to-face on several occasions during the sale process to provide a more personal service & talk things through. Matthew's advice was always backed up by market research, Methven statistics etc. He also provided us with a fortnightly report detailing the number of enquires, internet hits etc in relation to our property.
