Gem was well presented and easy going. In a very competitive landscape he did well compared to other sales agents. The negotiation skill I rated 4 stars, as we simply didn't have the chance to really put these to the test give the swiftness of the transaction. A good price, when the market was beginning to go soft and during the middle of December no less. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gem again.

In selling my mothers house in a randwick I initially selected a couple of agents to get there views of the current market ( allegedly softening) before settling on Cameron at N G Farah. My selection process was simply based on who was going to achieve the result that we both wanted. Any agent can sell in boom times but I needed one whose been through boom and bust and could "sell" a property at an agreed price and get it. Cameron told us the price and we sold prior to Auction within two weeks of listing. We had great analytics from the agent to assist with the transaction. I have sold 3 properties using Theo as an agent. He has consistently demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the market, as well as an understanding of the local comparable properties. The most important aspect for me is that he is very honest. He tells you like it is and doesn't try to placate the seller with false hopes. He then becomes totally committed to the process of selling the property to try to get he best he can for us. We have consistently gotten the best price we could have hoped for. In addition, his charming personality makes it a joy to work with him. Since it is often a stressful period for the sellers and we may get a bit tense and terse, he keeps a positive, optimistic attitude which is contagious and relaxes the situation. My dad was a realtor for 60 years and I have watched many realtors at work, so I know that Theo is one of the best there is.
