Early in 2024, we considered selling a small house in Brighton which had been in our family for almost 40 years. It was a daunting prospect because we'd not bought or sold any real estate during that time. How to begin? Naturally we talked to a few friends in the suburb who had some experience of local agents. There were several good recommendations but we always like to do our own research.
