I met with three estate agents and "interviewed" each prior to making a decision. When Brett came he spent time with my wife and I, explained the process and made some suggestions. His approach was professional, but also approachable, answering the numerous queries and thoughts. During the process we spoke about the marketing, the photographs and the presentation of the home. We also spoke about the range of the property asking questions to clarify the reasoning for the price range provided. Ultimately this was proven accurate with the sale of the property. Throughout we made contact with Brett and his team and received clear and consistent advice and feedback throughout the sales process. Tian was enthusiastic until I signed the contract. I understand that all agents need to sell as many houses as they can. However, honesty and responsibility should be always on top. I think Tian needs more of those. Before settlement day, I texted him that the tenant, who was living in my house, did not need to steam the carpet but needed to clean the house properly. I also called the property manager twice about this. Unfortunately, on the settlement day, the house conditions were so bad. It was extremely dirty - not livable because the wall on the toilet of my previous house was much cleaner. Many damages happened. Tian also witnessed that and he promised me to ask the tenant clean and fix those. However, I did not know what he said to his manager or his manager ordered anything for him. No actions from tenants or agents happened to my house. I asked them to keep the bond and got the answer that the bond was returned on the same time when tenants returned the key. This is obviously unusual because agent have to check the house conditions and ask the tenant to fill the bond return form before paying any bond deposit. Unless they cheated me.

Samantha prepared a very well thought out marketing plan, which was well executed by Sam, Ellie and the rest of the team, and attracted over 40 leads in very short time despite a fairly soft market and not the most attractive property. After the first"sale" falling through, a second buyer came forward through the Noel Jones local network, and the sell price was bang on original estimate.
