I am writing this on behalf of my 90 year old mother who recently sold her home - where she had lived for almost 30 years - through Joanne Vines. Joanne was thoughtful, approachable and knowledgeable about the sale of the property and she and her staff were kind and respectful to mum who was very apprehensive about the sale and also preparation of her home for inspections. My wife and I had previously sold our home through Joanne so we had a great deal of faith in her honesty, integrity and ability. On behalf of mum, we had a reasonable idea of what the property would sell for - a 3 bedroom brick veneer older cottage by the beach. As with the other agents that we had also discussed the sale with (of course you would get a general consensus idea), Joanne's initial appraisal came in under our estimate - hence only 9 stars for market knowledge but the others would have been fewer stars. However, she was quick to suggest that we put it up for sale within a "range" of prices. After the first inspection day, she had an offer at the low end of the "range" which we declined. We said for her to get back to the clients and if they were willing to pay the top price of the "range" they could have it that day. They came back the next day with that offer and the deal was done. One open house and sold! Pretty hard to argue with that - of course it was an ideal mix of vendor and purchasers. Joanne even assisted in getting the purchasers to agree to allowing mum to stay in her home of so many years for an extra month or so while the purchase of her new home went through. My mother and my wife and I were very satisfied with the services of Joanne Vines and One Agency Coffs Harbour.
