I'd just like to recommend Barry and his Ozway Realty services for selling the property that we have. I have to say that it was an excellent service that Barry offered. We had a certain price in mind and I had no idea what Barry would be able to achieve. I mean it was just absolutely magnificent. In the block of apartments where we live, there were three units were up for sale, and Barry surpassed not only those prices, but by a substantial percentage, like over 10 percent more than the others were selling for, and I have to thank Barry for that. All the way through the process, information was flowing, it was on a regular basis, he consulted with me to make sure that I was comfortable with the price. When I was ready to settle at a price, Barry encouraged me to stay in, which he could've easily said, “no, that's it Mark, we've got the sale.” But as it turned out, holding back allowed him to introduce new buyers that he pushed a little bit extra, and wow what an amazing result. I know that the new owners will be extremely happy with what they've got, and of course I'm absolutely over the moon with the price we got. I first met Barry about April/May 2015 after being introduced by a mutual friend.I owned a 2 bedroomed townhouse style apartment in Willoughby and a beautiful 3bedroom/3bathroom house in the Hunter Valley.For varying personal reasons,I wanted to sell both properties.My townhouse had been rented out for a couple of years,so wasn't in the pristine condition that I had left it in and the estate agent that had taken over managing it ,left a lot to be desired. As soon as I met Barry,he struck me as extremely professional,a person of integrity,someone who listened to my requirements and gave me sound,practical advice as to how I could achieve the best possible result on selling my properties.He first sold Willoughby within a few days by Private Treaty and managed to procure $50,000 above the highest amount I had hoped for. The Hunter Valley was a completely different proposition ,as although it was a lovely house in a great location,property is extremely difficult to dispose of in that region.It had been on the market with a local company for over a year,so I wasn't expecting a quick sale.Barry&Ozway sold it in eight weeks for the amount I wanted,mostly due to his incredible negotiation skills I'm a woman on her own who runs a small business,so have little time to organise other things.This is where Barry and his company went above and beyond the normal requirements of an estate agents by mostly doing everything for me to make both sales as easy as possible.I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending OzWay to anyone that wants a more than satisfactory experience when purchasing or marketing a property.Susan Mellis.
