After first speaking to Tony, all the way through to settlement - I have come to learn that he prides himself on integrity. Tony & I had built a relationship through numerous phone calls prior to the first open home. On the day of the first open-home, Tony asked me to arrive in the last few minutes, because he wanted me to sit in the alfresco (without too many people around me) to truly understand the ambiance of the home. This was the moment that I realised I was sitting in my forever home. Tony demonstrated that he listens & caters to people's perfect lifestyles. Most agents who I spoke to were focused on price, features, and the sale. These are logical factors, whereas Tony understood that I was buying with my heart. Through all communication, he was thorough and transparent. Agents have certain obligations to keep certain information confidential, which I understand. But the part that I cannot understand is where most agents keep their cards close to their chest for the sake of mind games. Tony avoided this from day one as he prides himself on integrity & cares for the best interest of all parties. After we won the auction, Tony was accommodating in all aspects. Our valuation was completed by a rogue valuer who undervalued the property by $90,000 below the sale price on a Friday afternoon. By Sunday evening, Tony had sent me a 3,290-word report with over 30 pieces of key evidence that proves the valuer to be incompetent. This convinced our lender to book another valuation with another company - which was successful. He understood the stress I was under, as this was only 1 week before our solicitor, broker & lenders went on their Christmas break with settlement due early January. He fought tooth and nail and scrapped for every little detail to defend our purchase on a property that could've been sold again within a heartbeat. Integrity. Passion. Honesty. Empathy. It was an absolute pleasure going through this process with Tony. A huge thanks.

Over the course of looking for a house, I would estimate that we dealt with about 50 realtors. Given the current climate, I think most had the attitude that houses were selling themselves, and they just had to show up. Tony is definitely something else. From our first meeting at an open home, Tony spent about an hour talking to us, giving us every bit of information about the house, about the current owners, and finding out about us. He very genuinely seemed to care about us, and never felt like it was for the purpose of a sale. If I were to tally up the hours spent talking to Tony on the phone, I think it would be at least 10, much of which had nothing to do with the house. All of the dealings regarding price negotiation we handled professionally, but also very honestly. Tony didn't make up any fake interested parties, hassle us for our "best and final offer", or leave us out of the loop with where negotiations were at, selling the house for the first offer they got without going back to interested parties (all of which other realtors did to us). This didn't mean we got the house for a steal, but just meant that we knew what was going on at all times, and had no reason to believe anything shady was ever occurring. After the sale, Tony organised to meet up with the current owners, get to know them a little bit, and go over any particulars of the house. I think both us, and the sellers have left the experience very happy. For a buyer to be able to trust a realtor is so incredibly rare, that Tony instills a lot of confidence in both parties getting a good result. I'd recommend Tony without any hesitation to anyone looking to buy or sell a house, because he gets invested in the people he is dealing with. Sure, he does it for the money, but the reason he puts in so much effort is because he gets invested in the people, and it's more important to him that both parties come out of the deal happy, than his paycheck. I think that's what truly makes him great.
