Having worked for major banks as a Finance Manager, Gurdev ventured out to start up a Mortgage Broking business in 2014 providing residential and commercial finance through 30+ banks Australia wide.
Being passionate about property and helping others, his business quickly grew with word of mouth referrals making him a trusted adviser for any property related transactions. Receiving an overwhelming response from his loyal client base, he was encouraged to start up a real estate business to further service their needs.
Discussing this idea at home with his wife – Anmol Singh, the duo decided to make this vision a reality by launching a boutique and independent agency with a fresh approach to property marketing, management and sales.
With a degree in Property Economics and having worked in Marketing and Asset Management divisions of Sydney’s leading large format and sub-regional shopping centres, Anmol brought her creative and management expertise to the business.
After several rounds of branding propositions, the name Paras & Baz was elected representing the couple’s two sons setting a family-based identity of the agency.
