Selling my cottage at Lauderdale was an emotional sale my house had been my mum’s home for 18 year she sadly passed away in 2018 . That is when I brought the house off my sisters. Over 3 years I put a lot of work into my cottage restoring it to how it had been before my mum got to frail and sick to look after it, something I had promised to do for her . At the time I had no intentions of selling it but then I met my now partner and we Decided we want to live together so I decided to sell. George was fantastic he understood how torn and emotional I was been moving and staying and gave me time from my first call to enquire about selling it to when I called him and said let’s put it on the market. He guided me on what needed to be done before we put it on the market. George was confident about the pricing and knew the Lauderdale area well. George took the time to explain everything to me he was fantastic at working in with my work schedule. George marketing was fantastic he knew what he wanted in the photos and they were fantastic the Ad for the house was so well written He was so honest when someone came through and the house was not what they wanted. We had 2 days of viewings Friday and Saturday with calls from George after each day to discuss potential buyers Then George presented contracts to me on the Monday night . The selling price was amazing. George made sure that I understood all details of the contract and has kept in contact with me after the contract went unconditional. I would highly recommend George Self to anyone wanting to sell their property with an Agent that makes sure all the boxes are ticked and keeps you up to date with everything.
