Great agent - keen, honest & professional
Dean had previously sold one of the villas in my strata plan in early 2017 and I knew both the buyer and seller were very happy with Dean's service, so I had him down on my list of potential real estate agents to talk with when I started my search for an agent to sell my villa.
Right from the start, he showed his keenness by dropping off a personalised brief with local market data/trends/sales a day or two after I arranged a time for us to meet. He came with his colleague Jack Huggett at 8pm on a Thursday night and we ended up chatting till after 10pm. He was able to very quickly build a rapport with my wife and I, and we were impressed with his suggested strategy, experience and local market insight.
Throughout the campaign, Dean kept in touch and provided prompt feedback leading up to and during the campaign, as well as after each open house. At all times, we felt that his opinions were genuine and that he was working diligently to try and get us the best price, whilst also maintaining regular contact with the potential buyers.
We ended up selling pre-auction, based on advice which made sense and reflected the current slowing market conditions and buyer feedback. We got a very pleasant surprise when we agreed on a sell price with the buyer, only to have Dean and Jack turn up that night to exchange contracts with a sell price of several thousand dollars more!
Selling a house was a very nerve-racking experience for us, but Dean helped to make the process as painless and smooth as he could, and for that we are very grateful.
