I engaged Liam Jackson from the Professionals Mt. Evelyn Office to sell my home, based on personal recommendation from a friend. Liam came around prior to sale with feedback and suggestions to maximize the sale price. It took about 6 months, but once I signed with Liam things moved very quickly. Within a week I had appointments with the photographer, plan drawer, videographer and copy writer. The property went live online on the Wednesday and the first inspection was the same evening. There was a high number of groups through the property within the first few days and the home sold in 8 days for $10K above the advertised selling range. The team at The Professionals and in particular, Liam Jackson were amazing. The professionalism, the unflappability, the communication was top rate. As a vendor who has not bought and sold many properties I was the stress head client sent to try the agents but nothing was too much trouble for them. Ben is a genuinely good person. That might not be the most important thing in real estate when you want the agent who’ll get you the most for your property, but he did that, too. We thought long and hard about this review because we know Ben is always looking for ways to improve, but we haven’t been able to come up with anything. Before we signed with Ben he was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to get in touch with. After we signed he was even more so. He was round at our house once when the car was getting serviced and we needed to pickup a sick child from school; although we borrowed a friend’s car he offered to drive us there and back. He’s a caring, community-minded person. We were intending to buy before selling and he was always happy to talk in’s and out’s of various locations and aspects with us. I once texted him after business hours and he offered to call to talk some things over rather than wait until the next day. He always had good questions for us to ask ourselves to help make up our own minds (even when we wanted someone to tell us what to do 🤣). Anytime he didn’t pickup the phone immediately when we rang he sent us a text saying when he’d call back. We plan to be in our new home for many, many years, but when it is time to sell we hope Ben is available.
