We had purchased from Sally previously and entrusted her with the property to re-sell. The campaign was unfortunately not handled well. The advertising was uploaded late on a Friday night leaving a poor turn out on the first saturday inspection in a slight downwards changing market. As she had described, the local buyers have exited leaving only unknowing interstate investors and buyers agent fishing around. Following a poor turn out, she had to go overseas for a family matter and was away for 2-3 weeks leaving a less experienced assistant to conduct opens. Little update was provided during this time. Upon her return, she worked hard to get a sale which came $20,000 less than where the initial price expectation needed to be. Upon doing the deal, she sided with the buyers by nitpicking on our property prior to settlement requesting for minor maintenance/repairs to be done prior instead of assuring the buyers that those minor details are part and parcel of buying an old house.
