Bitterly disappointed with the Agent regarding the purchase of this property. It seems apparent based on this experience that the Vendor and the Agent are the most crucial part of the sale process with the Buyer just a means to end to ensure the Sold Sign is placed on the front of the property, with no regard for the buyers interests or needs.

I just about gave up. Kept putting in offers for the agent to call me back saying they have a higher offer and do I want to increase my purchase offer. They were using my offer as the reference point for other prospective buyers instead of going to the vendor and submitting my offer. I met Brian who was showing me thru a house at Lisarow. It was a Friday and he had an open home the following day. We liked the home when Brian asked if we wanted to put in an offer my wife said no way because of our experience with other agents. We new about the open home the next day as everyone knows my offer would have been there starting point for interested buyers on the Saturday. When I explained this to Brian he assured me that is not the way he works and he would contact the vendor immediately with my offer. I was hesitant but advised Brian what I would pay within 5 minutes of leaving Brian called me and advised the vendors accepted. He cancelled the open home the next day. Finally an agent that thinks about the vendor and purchaser and not his back pocket. The only agent I will ever use for my purchases.

James was polite, friendly and enthusiastic. He seemed to be always at work, ie you could call him after hours and he would call you after hours with updates etc. You knew that he was endeavoring to sell your house. James was on top of what the market was doing and openly discussed this with you. I think the only negative thing we could say is that we would have appreciated James advising us of the negative points re the selling of our house up front not as we went along so that we were not so disappointed in the final price.
