Founded in Mossman in 1949 by George Quaid Jnr, the business quickly founded a reputation for being able to locate and secure not only traditional homes and land but also those properties best described as unique or special and truly North Queensland - be it with magical rainforest, valley streams or coastal acreages; properties that only a local could know about. Today over 65 years later, we still are finding those hidden gems as well as everyday homes and acreages for the tens of thousands of customers we have bought and sold for.
Based on Lake Street in the heart of the Cairns CBD since the 1970’s, Quaid Real Estate has now seen 3 generations of agents under its banner and is currently led by Managing Director and Principal Auctioneer Stacey Quaid – George’s eldest son and a 25 year property veteran. Stacey’s own eldest son Tom leads the residential sales team across the Cairns market.
