Re: sale of family property in Medlow Bath The property had been in the family for many years and was looking its age. It had never been sold and was built by several family members. Living in Sydney our knowledge of the Medlow Bath area was limited and we weren't sure what work needed to be done to facilitate a sale. Brenton came to our initial meeting with research and an information pack on the area. He had a clear strategy on how to sell the property and what work needed to be done. He didn't refer this last task to an overpriced 'designer' like two agents we dealy with - one agent came back with a quote of $20k - $30k to refurb the property! He reminded us that it was a 'first time on the market' property that buyers would appreciate needed work. Not only did he save us money on the work required to get it to market but he also quoted the highest sale price because he had done his research unlike several big agents from Leura and Katoomba. I would like to say how much I recommend Brenton Ebzery from R&H Katoomba to anyone needing an agent on the Blue Mountains. His name had been given to me by an extremely fussy friend of mine who had recently sold and hastened to give me his card. The best word for him is exceptional, as he is just that at all things agents should be skilled in and naturally good at. From the first interview with him, he was clearly a genuine person and there was nothing forced about him. He was intuitive, perceptive and at the same time sensitive to our wishes and needs. He had a high degree of knowledge of the market and of our local area in particular, being well experienced in the real estate field and was cluey and convincing when it came to deciding on a price for our house. We found it encouraging that he was sincerely interested in our situation and we enjoyed all our interactions with him. Both his patience and sense of humour were appreciated during the whole sale period also and to top it off, Brenton was always impeccably presented and punctual. Not ever having been minimalistic myself and my husband having been a great hoarder, a hitch with our removalist on moving day followed by my husband being rushed to hospital the next morning, caused massive traumas for me. My phone call to Brenton was reassuring and we were hugely helped by our friends as well. Then, as the next owner's van unloaded and we tried to extricate ourselves from our last chores to leave, Brenton and his fine colleague Jarrod arrived to check on things and received well deserved hugs from this exhausted and grateful vendor.
