Ian had a tough job selling a run down house and having to deal with an older lady and her family of 5 children. He looked after Mum exceedingly well and was very understanding and compassionate when dealing with her. He did not push her into making quick decisions, but made sure she understood the processes required to sell her property of 47 years. He also managed the intricacies of a family of 5. As I was going through a concurrent purchase process with another property, I can draw direct comparisons between my experience with Alex and the other agent who coincidently was the Principle of their franchise. Property was tenanted and buyer not willing to take over the tenancy, delaying the final sale for months until end of lease. Buyer offered too low a price, and I advised Ian to not waste time with him. Ian persisted and came back with an offer 15k less than what I wanted and 5k less than my "minimum" and I was convinced to take this offer, despite being a sellers market with interstate sales.
