I recently rented a property through Anjalee Crowley from Ray White, and while the overall process was fine, I was quite disappointed with their handling of a simple request. When setting up my energy account, the provider asked for the gas meter access details. I reached out to the agency, expecting them to assist, but they replied like this “ Hi, Gas connection is the tenants responsibility so I have never been asked questions like this before, therefore I do not know the answer. You can contact the strata agency via phone number too on (02) 9846 1699. ” just passed the responsibility to the building management . When I contacted the building management, they informed me that it was actually the agency’s duty to provide this information. This back-and-forth was frustrating and unnecessary. As a tenant, I shouldn’t have to chase different parties just to get basic information that the agency should have readily available. A bit more accountability and efficiency would go a long way in improving their service. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re first time being an apartment tenant and do not have knowledge about how to set up your energy account and counting on a responsive and reliable agency to do it for you.

The most responsive agents I have come across. I have been with 3 different real estate agencies during my time in Australia & I have usually come to expect the usual response time to about a week later once a question asked or issue raised. However, Ray White has so far responded almost immediately & actioned on it. Extremely impressed and happy with their service. Hopefully, this quality remains moving forward too. :)
