Sold in a challenging market
Douglas worked very diligently to sell our house in Beecroft. With his considerable local knowledge, expertise and market experience he was able to canvass across a huge body of potential purchasers. He very deliberately tried to minimise expenses for us by first consulting his own database of potential buyers, then Ray White's and finally advertised the property on Domain and Real Estate.com. Douglas organised and attended numerous house openings during the marketing period and went to lengths to ensure we were constantly apprised of the outcomes and interest. He actively negotiated on our behalf with several potential purchasers, including the eventual buyers, and again kept us constantly and immediately updated. Before the property went on market Douglas organised several trades to do necessary work on the house and surveyed and reported back to us as we were isolated in WA, as we still are. Additionally Douglas went way above ordinary expectations in organising final cleanup when we were unable to do so ourselves. This involved quite a bit of physical labour of his own. Douglas happens to be an old friend and neighbour but, still, we couldn't reasonably expect the degree of help we received. If selling in Beecroft, Douglas Macarthur is your man.

I have had the best imaginable experience in selling with Douglas, from the first discussion, to the final result, Douglas made everything easy. Douglas is a consummate professional, works like a machine, and is one of the most trustworthy and honest partners I have ever worked with, in any arena. We had a lot to do for our sale to achieve the desired result, and wether it was organising tradespeople, planning the campaign, recommending styling and redecorating, watering plants after hours or showing our house to 20 people a day, Douglas overdelivered and then overachieved in the sales result. Douglas built trust and demonstrated professionalism from the very beginning, before we even had a sales contract he was working hard to ensure we felt confident and knew every step as we progressed. We had very thorough communications and detailed reports from every open house, making sure every potential buyer was followed up and he ensured that they trusted him in finding them the right property, it really was amazing to watch Douglas work. The Auction was the icing on the cake. Douglas had the best preparation of any auction in the district on the day, he had the best relationships with the potential bidders, had the best auctioneer and made sure the auction ran like clockwork, and that got us the best result we could have imagined. Sale of Our Unit at Beecroft
We were extremely happy with the service provided by Ray White in Beecroft and Douglas in particular who handled our sale. From the start Douglas was upfront and set our expectations on what we could achieve. We had a great turnout at all the open houses and Douglas kept us informed of progress. Despite us being overseas we always felt we were in the loop and his efforts led to a successful sale. I would highly recommend Douglas.
