I had previously tried to rent the unit and was gettting very little response so decided to sell and looked for a local bayswater agent rather than my current rental agent who was based 30 minutes away. I live interstate and didn't having watched the market deteriorate over the previous 6mths was looking for relatively quick sale with the minimum of fuss , so I needed an agent that understood the local market. Carters Realestate had a strong market share and and were able to give me a realistic market appraisal and were happy to show me other similar properties they had sold as a basis for the their estimated sale price range. We were extremely impressed at the prompt, attentive and efficient service displayed by Gary and Daniel. Our property in Bayswater was sold in record time and at a price we were very pleased with. What was really impressive is that they had a proper plan which outlined the proposed steps in selling the property which is something other agents we approached as potential sellers did not. We were kept informed at every step, and we found their advice and knowledge extremely helpful. In the interests of being up front, it should be said that Gary & Daniel are my relatives, but i can tell you they worked really hard to get my place sold for me. They regularly drop everything to meet buyers at all hours on short notice, and from when i was a buyer myself, i can tell you that's not very common amongst agents. People that know Gary & Dan know they're straight shooters and don't give BS appraisals. After almost 2 years on the property market, we had dealt with all kinds the real estate industry had to offer. I can say that Daniel is one of the precious few realtors that comported himself with consistent professionalism. When we saw the properties for sale by Daniel, my partner and I were hard pressed to decide between the two available homes followed. What followed was constant after hours viewings, 3rd, 4th and 5th opinions, constant clarifying phone calls and requests for additional information. Throughout the entire process, Daniel was helpful, responsive and friendly despite what I'm certain would have been a draining process. At the end, we decided on one and Daniel helped expedite the process making it as efficient as it was painless. I would happily refer any friends or family to Daniel if they were looking buy or sell.
