We chose Ray White Cheltenham after being underbidders at a couple of Kevin's auctions. We really liked his style and the way he engaged with the crowd and said if we were ever selling, we knew who we would use. After completely renovating our house, circumstances changed and we needed to sell. Right from the very start Kevin was upfront and honest about the property and price expectations, given the way the market was moving. Kevin and his team ran a number of open for inspections and even took on board our suggestion for a twilight viewing, to add some atmosphere and show off the pool lighting, fireplace etc. We also received detailed reports on a regular basis on the performance of our advertising, the valuations people were giving at opens, as well as their level of interest, and whether they were likely to be a genuine buyer. Come time to plan for the auction, Kevin and his team explained that the market was still seeing a downward adjustment in some cases and not to set our price expectations too high. Auction day finally rolled around and the bids started coming in lower than the advertised range which had us worried. A few minutes later everything changed and suddenly there were 4 people bidding and Kevin's skill and technique as an auctioneer were on display in driving every last bid out of everyone. In 10 minutes we went from stressed about passing the property in to having set a record sales price for a 3 bedroom house in Cheltenham. I doubt any other agent would have been able to achieve the result we did and we will forever be greatful for the fun, professional and highly skilled service we received from Kevin and his team. We will not hesitate to use Ray White Cheltenham again.
