Embarking on a home purchase at the back end of the biggest surge in house property values since the 1980's was going to be no mean feat but our demand for more space in the form of a house became a priority without leaving postcodes 2042/43. I first met Shaun at the end of Nov 21 at an Erskineville house open. I wasn't seriously looking for a house it was just a thought, I was being a stickybeak. I left that open home without a doubt in my mind that I wanted something similar. Shaun and I during that open house had a quick discussion on what I was looking for and what my budget was. I went home and contacted a mortgage broker to organise the funds to buy a new home. As xmas rolled on and so did Omicron, we didn't look at a house again until Jan 21 2022 and successfully purchased a home through Shaun 5 weeks later. So why did it only take 5 weeks to buy our perfect home in Newtown? The expertise and area knowledge of Shaun contributed mostly however, it was the personal experience that Shaun provided that made the search quick and matching. During that 5 week period, Shaun's phone line was open to me to discuss any property in the area, even if it was not being sold by his practice. Shaun also thought of me when new properties in the area hit the market. Shaun also provided his honest opinions on homes and locations that we told him we were interested in which helped tremendously. As Shaun had been to our home and got a glimpse of our style, he then provided safeguards and trouble shooting conversations back to our initial requirements when we discussed potential home purchases with him. All of the conversations with Shaun kept us on track to obtaining the perfect home and location.

I was interstate with my grandchildren and left it all up to Matt. I never had to make a call as I was totally kept in the loop, after every open I would receive a call with a short run down, following day comprehensive written update. I had complete trust in Matt and Ray White Erskinville and was not disappointed . I hope the lucky new owners love living in Glebe and enjoy their new home as much as my children and I did .
