If we had stubbornly stuck to our own expectations we wouldn't have sold yesterday and the process would have drawn out further, which we couldn't really afford timewise. It would have been good to get the deposit earlier, within 1 month instead of 2, but it seems like that was more to do with our conveyancer, not exactly sure.
