If you’re selling, you’d be foolish to go with anyone else. Jon and his colleagues are excellent. Very knowledgeable, ethical and polished. During our search, we saw Ray White properties sell fast and for significantly over asking. Those with other agencies didn’t have the same buzz or competition. Jon is also super personable, responsive and resourceful. His colleagues are really nice too, quickly following up on questions or requests. Bless Amber, who had to rewrite our contract a few times and never complained (to us, at least). They also never misspelled my name, which is spelled oddly. I wouldn't fault anyone for it, but it was nice and showed their attention to detail. They just seem like genuinely decent people providing concierge service to clients and buyers alike. You can see how lovely they are on their YouTube channel. Tragically, they seem to be Collingwood supporters. Given how good our experience was, I can overlook it (but GO HAWKS). If I was selling, I’d definitely overlook it! Jon would be my first call. Separately, we had miserable experiences with other agencies. When I started looking, there was one property I’d have paid listing price for. But in the 5 days the agent took to respond, I learnt it was massively overpriced and had been on the market over a year. It's still on the market. Another agent cancelled an inspection 2 mins before, despite 5 hours’ notice the tenants were away and knowing I was driving down from Melb. Yet another never replied to an offer I made at 5% over asking. I later learnt they accepted a lower price than I'd have paid. It’s crazy anyone would leave money on the table like that. It might be a small difference to their commission but a huge deal to the vendor. Bottom line: Jon is amazing + other agencies are awful. I paid ~10% over listing and am thrilled with my experience. I’m STILL a buyer and unlikely to bother with properties not with RW. If you're selling, do yourself and me a favour and just call Jon.
