I first became aware of Laura through a series of E-Mails, In the 9 months of selling our property she would send 2v Emails a week to me, one being the level of activity & interest in our property and the other being a weekly update of Sales around the Wollindilly area, this was a great tool in watching the trending markets down there and more importantly, I could form my own opinion as to how much ours was really worth compared to others in large area. After each E-Mail I would send her a little thank you back, After a couple of weeks Laura added to the tail of her E-Mails, wishing me a great weekend, a small gesture, but being a team player with the Salesman, made me think how friendly she was & how good she was at interacting between the three of us and keeping me updated on everything going on market wise throughout the district. The first real time I saw her in action was the day of our Auction, she arrived early, spoke very well, set up the area so it would welcome perspective bidders, kept me fully informed throughout the whole Auction, and her ability to deal with "difficult" buyers, buyers that were late, buyers that were upset before arriving etc. Laura to me, was the organizational Tool that made the whole day work, she had been part of the team since it was put on the market, Gathered a lot of knowledge on our property so she could speak with Authority, Along with her organizational skills, her Work ethic on the day, her presentation on the day all totally professional. I, like everyone else, when it comes to Real Estate Agents had that element of distrust, earned from my late Father, when Kevin was asked to come & see Mum & I, when it was decided to sell Mum & Dad's farm. Kevin was the professional from day dot. My father had passed away 6 months prior to putting the farm on the market, and a month after putting it on the market my mother suffered a Major Stroke. As my family & I were trying to tend to mum, and me with my place in Sydney now having to take on the farm as well. Kevin was fantastic, also during this time we were going through the drought & I had lost the dam, The property market was way down but Kevin kept me positive, he'd ring me several times a week, keeping me updated with perspective buyers & Open Houses etc. I'd be down there twice a week maintaining the property whilst Kevin was trying every avenue to help us sell. There were times that I needed People to get in gates or read metres etc, I'd give Kevin a call & nothing was to much trouble, he, sometimes, in his own time would run out there to assist whenever he could. A very professional man, a man's word I learned to trust & Kevin was never in a hurry to get it off his books. Kevin had the Property for 9 months, sure we had a lot of "way under" offers but Kevin knew his market & his area very well and ultimately got us the best Price he could in a still dwindling market.
