Just over three weeks ago we asked Lisa McDonald, if possible, to sell our home of 20 years and buy a new home which had just come on the market. We were downsizing. Due to circumstances we had to move quickly and Lisa sealed the deal “just like that”. I've purchased many properties so have come in contact with many real estate agents. The hunt for my latest property has taken 4 months to secure. I have found the agents not as helpful this time around. I believe it's due to the current market & how many purchasers there were to properties available. The agents didn’t feel they needed to work for the vendors & that the property would just sell itself. It was very refreshing to meet Alex Cockcroft. It was a very brief meeting at first, as I was viewing many properties that day, so had to rush through the house. The house he was showing ended up in the top two properties I liked so I rang Alex on Monday to organise another viewing. This is where I got to know him a bit better. He is compassionate, caring, intelligent, courteous, warm & friendly. There was a genuine interest in me and my needs in regard to what I was searching for. He asked the right questions & in turn gave me informative answers to my questions. The questions he didn’t have the answers for was noted down & he got back to me in a very timely manner. There was deep discussion about whether it was better to wait for auction or put in an offer. I ended up putting in an offer with him then. That bid wasn’t successful but in the end, I managed to seal the deal prior to auction. This wouldn’t have been possible had Alex not communicated the way he did, keeping me in the loop at all stages. It was very obvious he had the vendors needs in the forefront of his mind but could still make me feel like he had my back too. It is a knack that most agents don’t have. Even after we had exchanged contracts, he kept the communication going for any questions I had about the property & was the go between me and the vendors. I rate Alex very highly & when I sell this property, I hope he is still around to represent me, as I have no doubt, he will get me the best price with the most outstanding service to go with it. Give Alex a go. You will not be disappointed.

Lisa was amazing to deal with from our first viewing of the house. She spent time talking us through what the house had to offer. Lisa was honest and transparent throughout the process, always answering our questions, giving advise and getting back to us straight away. What I loved most about the process was the personal phone call from lisa and the vendor at the end of the timed auction. They called together to congratulate us on the purchase of our new home. It was lovely to hear to excitement & relief from both parties. Buying and selling houses can be extremely stressful but we had nothing but ease, Grace and flow with Lisa as our agent.
